Join us to learn the basics of gilding products. Every wonder which product you should use to get those glittered/highlighted looks for your projects? Should you use a gilding wax? foil? leafing?

This is a hands-on class where you will get to try out different gilding/embellishing products that we carry in our store.

Rhonda McCleskey

Rhonda is the founder of Restored Home Interiors. She spent 20 years as a Pharmaceutical Systems Designer and Training representative for various companies across the United States. Shortly after relocating to Houston, Texas in 2006, as a result of corporate downsizing, she found herself seeking a new career path. Armed with a long-time passion for painting and decorating, she decided to turn her love of design into a full-time job. With the support of her husband and several friends, she began an at-home furniture refinishing business. As the business grew, Rhonda decided to open a studio and retail location to better accommodate her clients. Thus began Restored Home. She started offering do-it-yourself workshops shortly after opening and has been empowering others ever since. Today, Restored Home Interiors has two locations in the Houston area along with an e-commerce business that offers multiple decorative painting products and fine home furnishings. The company continues to provide high-quality furniture and cabinet painting, along with faux finishing services.
