It is our honor to recognize this wonderful woman as the recipient of the 2025–2026 Citation Award. A dedicated member of the Clear Lake Area Panhellenic Association since 2007, she has consistently exemplified leadership, service, and unwavering commitment to our organization.

Her Panhellenic journey reflects years of involvement and dedication. She has held numerous executive board positions, including Secretary, Program Co-Chairman, and Sunshine Chair, and most recently served as Chairman for both the Fall Friendship Tea and Holiday Brunch. She has also played a vital role in the Fashion Show Scholarship Fundraiser, serving multiple terms as Raffle Chairman and contributing to countless committees over the years.

As a proud representative of Alpha Gamma Delta, she has helped strengthen Panhellenic connections and friendships throughout our community. She has graciously opened her home many times as a hostess for both general and board meetings and has generously supported countless gatherings by providing food, drinks, and hospitality. Her dedication and service have been recognized through her receiving the Ginny Graves Progelhof Award three times.

Her commitment to service began long before joining Clear Lake Area Panhellenic. She attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where she majored in Elementary Education, earned Dean’s List honors, and was an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta, serving on the Rush Committee. During her years in Ohio, she also developed lifelong interests in music and travel and learned to play both piano and bassoon, as well as snow ski.

She later earned her Master’s in Reading Education from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and taught first grade for 12 years at Northside Elementary in Texas City, where she also served as Grade Level Chair. Her love for children and education continued throughout her life and service.

Her and her husband, Michael, spent eight years living in Huntsville, Alabama, where their daughter Lauren was born. While there, she was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, helping raise funds for missions and volunteering her time teaching preschool choir, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School.

After returning to Houston in 1999, she continued her dedication to faith, family, and community through Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and remains a devoted Astros and Texas A&M fan. She enjoys traveling throughout the United States and Europe, but above all,  is deeply devoted to her family. She lovingly cared for her mother during her later years and is actively involved in the lives of her four grandchildren.

Her years of leadership, generosity, and heartfelt service truly embody the spirit of Panhellenic. Please join us in congratulating and celebrating our 2025–2026 Citation Award recipient, Corrine McVay.
